First impressions are important in any relationship and we all know that first impressions are strong – so do you take any time to think about how you’re presenting yourself for the first time when it’s an important meeting?
Consider the following:
- What do you know about the person you’re about to meet?
- How are you presented, if it’s a business meeting – dress for it.
- Are you well prepared with your papers or presentation material?
- Do you have a plan of how you’d like the meeting to go?
- What are your objectives?
A little pre-planning and presentation can make all the difference with that first impression – Remember you are the representative of your business and if you seem organised and professional then so will your business.
